The Expanded Functions Dental Assistant will provide direct patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and manage clinical tasks such as infection control and instrument sterilization. They are also responsible for patient communication, scheduling, and performing specific restorative procedures as validated by the Dental Board.
Candidates must hold an active EFDA certification in the state of Ohio. The role requires proficiency in dental assisting procedures, radiography, and the ability to manage patient flow and clinical equipment effectively.
