Veterinary Kennel Technician

The kennel technician is responsible for the daily care, feeding, and medicating of hospital patients and boarding animals. They also assist veterinary staff with animal restraint, surgical instrument sterilization, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Candidates must be capable of performing moderately heavy physical labor and possess knowledge of proper animal restraint and cleaning methods. The ability to sympathetically attend to animals and follow oral and written instructions is essential.
