Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications for patients across various age populations. Ensure service delivery demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental needs of the individuals served.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience. Candidates must obtain PTCB certification within 12 months of hire.
Job Details Assist pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric, and Frail Elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Education/Training/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Training in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician-training program or equivalent experience. Computer proficiency required Certification through PTCB is required within 12 months of hire.
