The Physiatrist will conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations to develop individualized, non-surgical rehabilitation and pain management plans. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care and perform diagnostic procedures like EMG and joint injections.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and possess an active, unrestricted Illinois medical license. Additionally, applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and hold an active DEA license.
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations to evaluate patient function, mobility, and pain levels. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, non-surgical rehabilitation and pain management plans tailored to the patient's specific recovery goals. Multidisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate holistic care.
