The Medical Assistant II supports medical providers by performing clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, injections, and vitals collection while managing administrative duties like EMR documentation. They also collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and a seamless recovery experience.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a relevant medical training program such as Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or LPN. At least one year of experience in a medical assistant or phlebotomy role is required, along with the ability to obtain BLS certification.
