The CRNA independently provides a full spectrum of anesthesia services, including preoperative evaluation, administration of anesthesia, and airway management. They collaborate with surgical and emergency teams to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care across inpatient and outpatient departments.
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia and a current Kansas APRN license with CRNA designation. Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional blocks, obstetric anesthesia, and emergent airway management is required, with 2-3 years of experience preferred.
