The Medical Assistant will measure vital signs, document patient information, and assist physicians with office visits and emergency procedures. They are also responsible for managing patient prescriptions, referrals, and scheduling various medical tests and appointments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience as a Medical Assistant. A valid BLS/CPR certification and knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology are also required.
