The Medication Technician is responsible for distributing prescribed medications and maintaining accurate medical records for residents. They also monitor and report changes in resident health status while assisting with dining and engagement activities.
Candidates must hold a current Medication Technician license and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A caring attitude and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays are essential requirements for this position.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for THE BARCLAY AT ST. AUGUSTINE
Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress. Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations. Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records. Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team. Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Current Medication Technician License issued by the state CPR/First Aid, preferred Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays Experience working with older adults preferred
