The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures to support patient rehabilitation and recovery. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, educating families on care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a valid state PT license. Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic techniques, and safety standards. Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technology for documentation and billing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity. Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical and legal standards. Licenses and Certifications PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
