Outpatient Social Worker – Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) Program This position is part of an innovative outpatient mental health program utilizing the Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) model to support individuals living in the community with serious and persistent mental health conditions.
CET is an evidence-based, 9-month program designed to help individuals with schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, severe depression, and other significant mental health challenges improve their cognitive, social, and vocational functioning.
The program combines computer-based cognitive exercises, individual and group therapy, care management, and community-based social activities.
Training and certification in the CET model will be provided through Mercy Health.
As the Social Worker, you will: Facilitate weekly individual and group therapy sessions.
Provide care management and ongoing patient support.
Plan and coordinate twice-monthly community outings that allow participants to practice social and life skills learned in therapy.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the CET program.
Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with participants throughout the 9-month program.
Celebrate participant success as each cohort completes the program and graduates before beginning a new group.
