The Music Therapist is responsible for managing all activity therapy programming, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning. They must also support an organizational culture of service excellence while working with adolescent and adult patients.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and be a Board Certified Music Therapist. A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting is preferred, along with CPR and CPI certifications.
The Music Therapist completes all activity therapy programming, from assessment, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation, to discharge planning, as assigned. Knowledge of treatment programs, leisure education, social skill development, arts, and sports, needed. The Music Therapist supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.
