The SLP is responsible for providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services, including evaluations and evidence-based interventions for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish patient-centered goals and provide education to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an ASHA-accredited program and possess a valid State of Michigan SLP license or be eligible for one. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and American Heart Association BLS certification are also required.
Must be a graduate of a Master’s program accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Master’s in applicable field. State of Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License or Speech-Language Pathologist Educational Limited Temporary License during their clinical fellowship year (CF), or eligible to obtain licensure prior to hire date. Hold and maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology through ASHA or be provisionally accepted during their clinical fellowship year (CF).
