The Direct Support Professional provides essential care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living routines, administering medications, and ensuring the health and safety of residents.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver's license with at least two years of driving experience. Applicants must also be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and repositioning individuals and complete required certifications.

What You’ll Do As a Residential DSP, you’ll work as part of a supportive team helping individuals with daily routines, personal goals, and community involvement. Responsibilities include: Assisting with daily living skills and personal care Supporting meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping Administering medications (paid training provided) Providing transportation to appointments and community activities Completing documentation accurately and timely Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents Flexible PRN Scheduling Our residential program operates 24/7, and PRN staff help cover: Call-outs Vacations Open shifts Emergency staffing needs You can indicate your availability during the application process.
To maintain active PRN status, employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts during each 6-week scheduling period.
