The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive primary health care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups. Responsibilities also include performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates must be a registered nurse with a valid West Virginia license and recognized as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Prescriptive authority through the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses is required if eligible.
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, and reach. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
Registered nurse with valid West Virginia license and recognized by the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). If eligible, holds Prescriptive Authority through the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses.
Responsible for the provision of a full range of primary care health services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in all age groups, preventive and well child care, minor surgical procedures and occasional medical emergencies. Nurse Practitioners are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training.
