The Physician will provide a full range of ambulatory primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive health care services are delivered.
Candidates must have a valid license to practice medicine in West Virginia and be board certified or board eligible. They should also possess a current DEA certificate.

Valid license to practice medicine or osteopathy in West Virginia, with current DEA certificate. Board certified or Board eligible.
Provision of the full range of ambulatory primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in age group or groups specific to Physician's training, preventive and well child and or adult care, minor surgical procedures and occasional medical emergencies. Medical providers are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training and approved privileges.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
1. Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary health care services.
3. Complete all appropriate documentation in a timely manner according to FamilyCare policy.
4. Consult with, collaborate with or refer to other medical providers as appropriate.
5. Collaborate with Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses on staff.
6. Share after-hours telephone coverage with other Medical providers.
7. Participate in research, educational activities and the teaching of students, if interested.
8. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
9. Attend clinical and staff meetings.
10. Perform administrative duties as assigned.
11. Observe all health and safety requirements.
12. Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations.
13. Participate in the continuous quality improvement activities of the organization.
14. Perform work in a cost-effective manner.
15. Perform any other tasks within their abilities as directed by the Clinical Director or Chief Executive Officer.
