The Certified Medical Technologist II performs routine and complex laboratory analyses while identifying and correcting problems using independent judgment. They are responsible for staying current in laboratory theory and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient operations within the core lab.
Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology and possess MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) certification. Proficiency in laboratory terminology, specimen requirements, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
