Provide safe basic care to acutely ill adult patients, including taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living. Responsible for specimen collection, patient observation, and maintaining accurate patient charts to ensure continuity of care.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. A high school diploma and six months of clinical healthcare experience are preferred.

OVERVIEW: Welcome to Acute Care G200! G200 is a general med/surg unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a few surgical patients. Our patient care experience includes, but is not limited to, patients with hypertension/high blood pressure, pneumonia, chest pain, UTI's, COVID, and infections that require IV antibiotics. Our unit thrives on Teamwork and serving with the greatest care and love.
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
Required qualifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
