The Operating Room Circulator is responsible for nursing activities related to patient care during operative or invasive procedures. They also serve as a resource and provide guidance to non-licensed personnel within the surgical environment.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with at least one year of OR experience and a current Texas RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with CNOR certification preferred.
RN Operating Room Circulator is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The Operating Room Registered Nurse is a resource and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel. This individual can expect to care for adults patients, including the older adult through geriatric and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
