Candidates must hold an active Massachusetts RN license and have at least one year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN. Completion of a Periop 101 program and American Heart Association BLS certification are required.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nationally recognized Perioperative Services team. Required Active RN licensure in Massachusetts Graduate of an approved school of nursing Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN Completed Periop 101 program American Heart Association BLS Preferred BSN 2 years OR experience The Role & Your Environment You will be part of a dynamic, highly specialized team covering diverse surgical cases across our campuses in Boston. Shifts & Scheduling Staff work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Requires participation in an on-call rotation covering off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. Our Operating Rooms & Specialties Nearly 30,000 operative procedures are conducted at BIDMC every year – Fully impatient Campus BIDMC is ranked #1 in the U.S. for Heart Transplant BIDMC is ranked #3 in the U.S. for Liver BIDMC is ranked #1 in New England for Pancreas and Kidney–Pancreas Living Liver/Kidney Donor program In February 2025, we became the first in the region to perform robot-assisted living donor liver transplantation Only Donor Care Center in northeast region 7 general surgery robots, 3 DV5, 2 Single Port, 2 XI Dana Farber collaboration which will on board 70+ new surgeons Operating Room West Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery Bariatric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Major Plastic Reconstruction, Robotic Surgery, and Kidney & Liver Transplants. Operating Room East High-volume general and specialized surgery (40-60 cases/day) OB/GYN, Colorectal, Plastics, Ortho-sports, General, ENT, Eyes, Cysto, General Urology, Robotics, Interventional Pulmonology, and Podiatry. Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVI OR) State-of-the-art facilities, including two endovascular suites and a cardiac hybrid room. Each day our team staffs 4 cardiac surgery rooms are covered along with 3 vascular/endovascular rooms and 2-3 thoracic rooms Cardiac, Endovascular/Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional Pulmonology. Pay Range: $38.00 - $98.19 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
