The Attending Physician is responsible for planning, diagnostic development, management, and evaluation of medical services at the employee clinic. They provide direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to Jackson Health System outpatients.
A Doctorate degree in Medicine is required along with 5 to 7 years of related experience. A valid Florida Medical License and board certification in Family Medicine are also required.
As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Ambulatory & Physician Services Division is a growing multi-specialty physician network of physicians and specialists who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at many different specialty care centers, seek to hire a primary care physician (Family Medicine) to join our highly regarded multi-specialty practice to open our first clinic Jackson Health System Employee & Dependents Clinic in Miami-Dade County to serve Jackson Health System employees and their families. The Primary Care physician / Attending Physician is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the employee clinic/center of responsibility. Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients. Education Doctorate degree in Medicine is required. Experience Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience. License/Certification Valid Florida Medical License. DEA and board certification or eligible in Family Medicine are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
