Columbus, OH 43215Southeast Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Benefits Application Specialist to assist individuals in navigating the Social Security Disability benefits process. This position plays a vital role in helping clients access critical financial and healthcare resources while providing professional guidance and support throughout the application and appeals process.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Social Security Disability and SSI applications Gather, organize, and submit required medical and financial documentation Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and government agencies Monitor claim status and maintain accurate case records Educate clients on eligibility requirements and available community resources Support clients through appeals and follow-up processes as needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable regulations Qualifications High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in case management, healthcare administration, or related field preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Compassionate approach to working with diverse populations Proficiency with computer systems and documentation management What we offer: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, mission-driven work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development As a healthcare provider, Southeast Healthcare is a non-smoking employer.
