For decades, children and adults with disabilities were systematically denied educational opportunities, vocational training jobs, housing, and almost every other right and service that people without disabilities took for granted. A day in the life of a direct support professional (Dsp)

• As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
• You assist with activities of daily living such as household maintenance, transportation, administration of medications, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and more.
• While supporting people with disabilities, you build strong relationships while learning their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, likes, and dislikes.
• This helps you to provide the best care.

Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours
