• How you’ll contribute Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular test; and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab Scrubs at the tableside and monitors patients as assigned.
• Responsible for patient transport as necessary.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

• Assists Technicians in performing technical tasks.
• Ensures temperature and environmental monitoring logs are maintained appropriately.

Certification

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire

• Experience: One year cardiovascular lab or special procedures experience - Preferred. Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.
