The Crossroads Therapist identifies, assesses, and treats young men and women referred to the Crossroads Program at the Lorain County Detention campus. Responsibilities include conducting clinical diagnoses, implementing counseling interventions for youth and families, and maintaining detailed clinical records.
A Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a valid Ohio LSW or LPC license are required. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, along with a valid driver's license.

Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling required. SUD/ co-occurring treatment experience preferred.
The Crossroads Therapist is tasked with identifying, assessing, and treating young men and women who are referred to the Crossroads Program on the Lorain County Detention campus. The Therapist will be responsible for clinically assessing and diagnosing individuals referred to the program as well as conducting counseling interventions with clients and families both at the center and in the home/community to meet the needs of the youth and families we serve. The Crossroads Therapist reports to the Division Director of Youth Justice Services. This position reports to an off-campus location. The Crossroads Therapist is expected to maintain appropriate professional and clinical boundaries in a community based setting
This is a Full-Time position Monday - Friday. Weekly Schedule can be flexible to meet the program and employee needs.
