The Care Coordinator Medical Assistant coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting using a patient-centered primary care model. Key duties include managing in-baskets, closing health maintenance care gaps, and handling internal referrals and tele-med appointments.
Candidates must complete an accredited Medical Assistant education program and hold or be eligible for a WA State Department of Health MA-Certified license. Preferred qualifications include two years of outpatient experience and national certification through AAMA or NCMA.
Non-exempt/hourly The standard wage range for this role is $26.47 to $31.11 per hour It may be possible to earn more over time up to $35.75 per hour Currently offering a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 prorated by Full-time Equivalency (FTE) and subject to 2-year payback clause
Work Schedule: Full time (40 hours per week) Schedule is Monday-Friday working five 8-hour days Day shifts only

The Care Coordinator Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting following a patient-centered, primary care model. Primary responsibilities and duties include: In-basket management tasks Maintaining compliance with contracted controlled substance medications through Compass Rose Enrollment Workflows Addressing and closing health maintenance care gaps Performing tasks for internal referrals Setting up for tele-med appointments

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant education program Medical Assistant-Certified License from the WA State Department of Health (or be eligible to obtain one) - licensing requirements can be viewed at Medical Assistant - Credentialing Information | Washington State Department of Health
Two years of MA experience with outpatient clinic responsibilities Current MA certification through the AAMA, NCMA or other association that certifies MAs that's accepted by the WA State Department of Health for receiving an MA-Certified license A strong interest in working with a diverse patient population Multi-lingual communication Self-directed with problem solving and analysis skills Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Electronic Medical Records; scheduling systems; timeclock systems; learning management systems; and programs for creating & distributing surveys
