The RN independently performs direct patient care and coordinates comprehensive care plans for pediatric hematology and oncology patients. Responsibilities include prescribing and delegating care, documenting encounters in EPIC, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Hem/Onc RN. Candidates must hold a current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
