The role involves providing clinical nursing care, including taking vitals and administering injections, under physician direction. Additionally, the position handles front office duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient demographics.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a Certified Medical Assistant diploma is preferred. Prior experience in a physician office practice is also preferred.
EDUCATION: High School Graduate or Equivalent – required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited institution – preferred. PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in another physician office practice – preferred.
