Required qualifications / skills: A candidate must be a high school graduate or its equivalent, complete a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university, become certified within 90 days of hire, possess a functional working knowledge of medical terminology, demonstrate basic computer skills, excellent and dynamic people skills, excellent communication skills, and professional confidence. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assisting with front office operation including greeting patients, in-processing and data entry. Patient care coordination, interactive communication with medical staff. Occasionally conducting triage procedures for initial evaluations of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions.
