Assists in providing patient care and treatment while promoting mobility and safety to minimize fall risks. Participates in turning schedules for patients at risk of pressure injuries across various age populations.
Requires a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and certification as a Nursing Assistant by the Maryland State Board of Nursing. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, with acute care experience preferred.
Job Requirements Mobility Technician, full time, days Mon-Fri, 8hr shift, Days
Assists in providing patient care and treatment in accordance with the Division of Nursing Standards. Promotes mobility and safety for all patients on unit. Supports purposeful rounding and maintains environment to minimize the risk for falls. Participates in turning schedules for patients at risk of pressure injuries. The age of population served is neonate to geriatric or as defined in unit-specific structural standards in the assigned area.
