Collects blood samples via venipuncture, finger, or heel sticks while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsible for logging specimens in computerized systems and operating basic laboratory equipment like centrifuges.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for completion of an accredited phlebotomy program and national certification. One year of phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Completion of an accredited program in phlebotomy is preferred. Certification as a registered phlebotomist by a nationally recognized Phlebotomy Society, such as the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, is preferred.
Minimum of one year of work experience as a phlebotomist is preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
