The Imaging Tech Student is responsible for maintaining the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties, including processing paperwork and performing exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role also involves assisting the radiologist and attending physician and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Candidates must have completed a clinical competency in training and be in good standing with an affiliate Radiology Program. Additionally, students should have completed at least one semester clinical rotation in the department or be willing to complete an in-service with a Registered Technologist.

Assists the radiologist and attending physician. Communicates effectively and appropriately, works efficiently and productively, maintains a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper use and care of equipment. Reflects a caring attitude for patients, visitors, and employees.
1. Must have completed a clinical competency, in training and in good standing with the Radiology Program at an affiliate school of Radiology. (GSCC or WSCC). 2. Students should have completed at least one semester clinical rotation in this department or be willing to complete an in-service with one of our Registered Technologist before beginning a weekend shift. 3.
