Coordinates clinical encounters, authorizations, and surgery scheduling while serving as the primary administrative contact for patients. Manages provider schedules and works with Revenue Cycle Operations to handle co-pays and insurance notifications.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting. A background in the medical field, such as a Medical Assistant, is preferred.
Coordinate the clinical encounters of patients, including clinical appointments, authorizations and surgery scheduling. Will serve as primary administrative contact for patients, facilitating patient needs with care team. Ensures optimized clinic schedule for providers, including template management, guidelines and working with Medical Assistants to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately. Works closely with Revenue Cycle Operations to facilitate both authorization and co-pay/co-insurance notification and collection.
