Essential functions

• Diagnose and
• Treat
• Malocclusions: Examine patients’ dental and skeletal structure to identify and diagnose alignment issues and develop treatment plans to address these concerns.
• Design and
• Implement
• Orthodontic
• Treatment: Use various orthodontic appliances, including braces and aligners, to correct bite issues, misaligned teeth, and jaw discrepancies.
• Monitor
• Patient
• Progress: Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Educate
• Patients on
• Oral
• Health: Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on maintaining oral health during and after orthodontic treatment.
• Collaborate with
• Dental
• Team: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain
• Accurate
• Patient
• Records: Document treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree with specialized training in orthodontics.
• Valid orthodontic license (state-specific requirements apply).
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
