Provide recovery support and peer coaching to program participants to strengthen their capacity for personal recovery. Develop wellness recovery action plans and assist individuals in navigating treatment and social services.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in recovery guiding principles. An associate degree and CPRS certification are preferred.

The Coordinated Specialty Care and Community Integration program The Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) and Community Integration program provides comprehensive services, including evidence-based pharmacological treatment, supported employment and education services, individual and group psychotherapy, case management, family therapy, and recovery support in the community and clinical settings. This program services individuals ages 15-35 who have an ESMI diagnosis.

Job Summary The Peer Recovery Specialist will provide recovery support and peer coaching to program participants and will be required to attend Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) State mandated trainings delineating peer role functions, competencies, responsibilities, and orientation to DMHAS treatment initiatives.
Works with individuals to support and strengthen their capacity to engage in personal recovery through wellness services, development of recovery plans / wellness recovery action plans, education of navigating treatment social services and recovery support programs. Provides both face-to-face and telephone support services based on personal choice and maintain aftercare contacts based on agency procedures.
