• Summary: Responsible for the procuring and processing of laboratory specimens and reporting results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; participates in quality assurance and adheres to quality control practices in the Laboratory.
• QualificationsRegulatory
• Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology. Completed a Medical Technologist internship at a qualified medical facility. State Licensure is not required at this time. Experience as a Medical Technologist in the following specialties; blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and serology/immunology is preferred.. Certification preferred.

• Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages are helpful.

Basic computer knowledge. Operates current Clinical Laboratory equipment correctly and safely.
