As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will coordinate medical, dental, and mental health services for youth and adolescents. Responsibilities include medication management, nursing documentation, and collaborating with staff regarding client care.
Candidates must be LPN licensed in New York State with 1 to 2 years of experience and CPR certification. Experience working with youth and adolescents is desired, and candidates must pass a physical and complete TCI training.
Complete the nursing observations report findings to the registered nurse Review lab and test results, reporting critical values to RN and providers Medication management including ordering medications and obtaining prior authorizations Dispense medications Communicate with medical director/providers regarding observation in client’s health/behavior Provide client and family education regarding medications and treatments Collaborate with our staff regarding concerns and behaviors Participate in Interdisciplinary Medication Review meetings Nursing documentation using EHR Update discharge planning needs Other duties as assigned within scope of practice and based on agency needs Requirements and Education: LPN Licensed in New York State 1 to 2 years of experience CPR Certification Experience working with youth and adolescent population desired Must pass physical. Must be able to complete TCI training.
