The Integrative Medicine Assistant is responsible for assisting patients and healthcare professionals during routine visits, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient care support. They also maintain clinic inventory and assist in various projects as assigned.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a Medical Assistant or Clinical Aide Certificate preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is desired, along with basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
Participates in different projects as assigned. Performs other job duties as required by Supervisor/Director.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Medical Assistant or Clinical Aide Certificate desired. Prior experience in a health care setting preferred. Type at least 35 w.p.m. Knowledge of basic computer skills. Good communication skills. Current documentation of Basic Life Support is required. LANGUAGE: Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English. Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) required. Fluency in other languages are an asset.
