The Surgical Tech Advanced performs technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for perioperative patients. This includes preparing patient skin for surgery, maintaining aseptic techniques, and managing supplies and equipment in the operating room.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or have 15 years of experience as a Surgical Tech. Additionally, they must possess good communication skills and relevant certifications.
Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates comprehensive care for designated patients to ensure quality of care and continuity of care delivery.
