The core mission is to support the Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients, aiming to win client confidence to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include performing technical skills such as venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with surgery and dentistry.
The position seeks an experienced Technician or Veterinary Assistant who possesses a passion for the human-animal bond and is capable of utilizing various technical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment. VCA Laurelhurst Animal Hospital is a growing and vibrant 7-doctor, AAHA accredited, small animal practice located in the Laurelhurst area of NE Portland. We are adding a Certified Veterinary Technician to our team! We have been serving the Laurelhurst community and surrounding area for many years. We are a fast-paced, modern, paperless hospital that provides wellness and preventative care, advanced nursing care, digital radiology, ultrasonography, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, client education, and much more.
