The Physical Therapy Assistant implements individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient mobility and function. They collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and instruct patients on the safe use of assistive and orthopedic devices.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and a graduate of a CAPTE-accredited college or university. Required qualifications include a current PTA license, BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, and one year of experience within the last two years.
Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination. Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
