The Radiologic Technologist performs various radiographic procedures and applies ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety, accuracy, and comfort.
Candidates must be ARRT certified and hold a valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist. BCLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Under the direction and supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative, to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. This role collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy and patient comfort.
Shift: Nights: 7 on 7 off schedule
