The LPN is responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and monitoring withdrawal symptoms in a recovery environment. They collaborate with the treatment team to develop care plans and conduct client education to support long-term recovery.
Candidates must hold a valid LPN license from the State Board of Nursing or a compact license and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. A degree from an accredited nursing school is required, and experience with substance use treatment is desired.
As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our clients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. All nurses participate in treatment team meetings and develop plans of care, administer medications and monitor effectiveness; other duties as assigned. Supervisory skills, common sense and a compassionate spirit are essential personality characteristics.
