What Our Veterinary Technicians Do: As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll be a critical part of our medical team, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, high-quality care. You’ll: Provide skilled support during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and emergency care. Administer and monitor anesthesia and sedation under DVM direction. Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and assist with extractions. Collect and process diagnostic samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology, etc.). Manage inpatient care, including IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and medication administration. Educate clients about treatments, medications, and home care. Maintain surgical suites, medical equipment, and hospital inventory. Mentor veterinary assistants and newer technicians, sharing your skills and experience. Support the front desk as needed to ensure a seamless client experience.
