• Some technical requirements for this position are: High School Diploma or GED. Previous administrative/office experience required; healthcare administrative experience is a plus. Ability to successfully pass a background check in relation to the position applied for.
• Day to
• Day: Answering incoming calls. Participate in medical records organization, retrieval and retention. Respond to staff requests for charts. Process correspondence. Ensure appropriate reviews are completed before releasing or filing health care information. Monitor charts for completeness and required documentation. Data entry of patient information. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. Perform Health Care Information activities consistent with medical, ethical, and legal requirements.
