The Registered Dietitian is responsible for implementing the Nutrition Care Process (ADIME) to provide patient care. They also serve as a resource for clinical staff and students while participating in performance improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and be a Registered Dietitian via the CDR. Valid licensure in both Kansas and Missouri is required.
The Opportunity: Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and /or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements. The Shifts: On Site 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible) Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend) Holiday Rotation Why Saint Luke’s?
