The general dentist is responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases and injuries of the teeth and gums. This includes performing corrective procedures, providing preventive care, and guiding dental assistants.
Candidates must be a graduate of a DDS or DDM school and hold a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Ohio. Current CPR certification and at least one year of experience are strongly preferred.
Monday – Friday schedule. No late nights, no weekends, and 11 paid holidays.
One-year current experience as a dentist, strongly preferred. Graduate of a dental DDS or DDM school. Must be licensed as a Dentist (DDS or DDM) by the State of Ohio. Current certification in CPR. Typing skills of 35 accurate wpm Working knowledge of dental and medical terminology Pleasant and respectful manner in dealing with patients and staff Ability to work under demanding, stressful conditions Neat appearance, punctual, detail oriented Must be well organized, professional, flexible and have good interpersonal skills Must show initiative and ability to use sound judgment in the absence of specific orders Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Must be able to work independently
