Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for evaluation and treatment by interpreting physicians. Maintain focus on detailed tasks while managing time demands and interruptions.
Requires ARDMS and RVT certifications along with CPR certification. Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience as a Sonographer; a B.S. degree is preferred.
Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by interpreting physician.
ARDMS mandatory, RVT mandatory. CPR certification required. B.S. Degree preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years as a Sonographer required
Ability to function under pressure of time demands. Position requires eye-hand and gross body coordination skills; extensive walking. Position requires the ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions and attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time. Individuals must be able to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts and remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time.
