The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring the highest diagnostic quality and minimal radiation exposure. Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering contrast media, and assisting radiologists with sterile procedures.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree and ARRT certification in Radiography, along with BLS certification. One year of clinical experience and knowledge of RIS/HIS are preferred.
This position accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including skills required in performing a variety of technical procedures, resulting in the highest quality diagnostic radiograph, with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient.
