The Memory Care Activity Assistant focuses on enriching the lives of residents through joyful and engaging activities. They provide emotional and social support to seniors with Alzheimer's and other memory-related dementias to maximize their cognitive and physical abilities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, and must complete a state-approved CNA training and competency program. Adherence to C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) is required.

The Memory Care Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Being able to truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
A desire to work with those experiencing alzheimer’s disease and other memory-Related dementia assuring that each person lives every day to their maximum cognitive and physical ability.
The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Cooperating closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
Balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep.
Create engaging, age-Appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
· demonstrates c.a.r.e. Values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence
· high school diploma or general education degree (Ged); or one to three months’ related experience and/Or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program or a cna competency evaluation program approved by the state. This training can also be provided by the community.
