The Medical Assistant supports providers by greeting patients, managing clinical flow, and assisting with medical procedures using sterile techniques. They are also responsible for patient charting, recording vitals, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably a degree from an accredited Medical Assisting program or at least two years of clinical experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to handle clinical equipment and patient records is required.
The Medical Assistant works under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Provider(s), to greet patients; relay telephone messages to the appropriate recipients; assist with procedures; and perform various other assigned clinical responsibilities, utilizing sterile and aseptic techniques
